Light + Truth

The spiritual gift of prophecy has not passed away. God uses it for the good of the church until Jesus comes.

If we are to grow in our love to one another, we must first experience Christ’s love as a deep, unshakable love.

God delights in those who place the full weight of their hope in him.

God gives us spiritual gifts so that we can help our brothers and sisters fight the good fight of faith.

God reveals himself to us clearly in his word. There are difficult passages, but their benefit is never beyond our reach.

All the Bible knowledge in the world won’t help you unless you cherish God’s truth. We’re nothing more than Pharisees unless we taste the glory of God in his word.

There is no light besides Jesus. It’s Jesus or darkness. It’s life or death. Choose this day whom you shall serve.

Only Jesus could do the saving work we needed. Only he could bear the awesome weight of our sin.

God offers an ever-flowing river of delight to anyone who will drink deeply of his goodness.

You don’t have to be anxious. Your heavenly Father will provide for all of your needs.
