This week, a very special edition of Lighthouse News.
The ballots for the federal Conservative Party leadership race were mailed out last week.
ARPA is not taking any formal position on who should win the race; the organization has not endorsed any particular candidate(s). But our supporters have been asking us for our opinions on who their "top ten" candidates should be on the ranked ballot. We're not answering that question; certainly not in any formal organizational way.
But there are three candidates who are perceived to be the most friendly to the issues that are important to ARPA as an organization; issues ranging from parental rights to free speech to pre-born human rights. Two of them because they have expressly talked about these issues as part of their leadership campaigns, and a third because of his voting record in the House of Commons.
Those three candidates, in alphabetical order, are Pierre Lemieux, Andrew Scheer, and Brad Trost. This week, we managed to get all three of them together for a special, full-edition episode of Lighthouse News.
** At one point in the interview, Mr. Trost makes an incorrect reference to a list of “ratings” of candidates published by We Need a Law. No such list exists.
