Which is harder to comprehend, death or resurrection? As we hear Mark's account of the resurrection we realize how life-changing the resurrection of Jesus truly is.

We go early in the morning with the women and the disciples to the tomb to hear the life-changing message, "He is no longer here, for He has risen as he said" [Matthew 28:6].

We've included the Reader's Theater "In the Garden" for the start of the service.

Walk with us through the betrayal, trial and death of Jesus. As and we see His sacrifice for us we hear the call to "by the mercies of God, present your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship" [Romans 12:1].

The end is a Tenebrae service which is a series of readings on Jesus arrest, trial and death drawn from the four Gospels.

You are invited to join Jesus in the upper room as he teaches his disciples to serve one another in humility.

Jesus humble entrance into Jerusalem is a model for humble care for others.

We are to look to Jesus, who endured the cross, so that we do not grow weary and faintheared.

Like James and John, we often don't know what we are asking of Jesus. Graciously though, our Lord gives us what we need most of all.

For us love comes and goes. But at the cross we see the permanent love of God displayed.

When we are looking for peace it is often the sense of tranquility and serenity. But Jesus gives us a much better and stronger peace.
