The defending Stanley Cup champion Lightning have advanced to the second round of the 2021 playoffs by virtue of their 4-0 clinching win in game 6 Thursday night. And, Lightning Insider is here Erik Erlendsson to recap the "Sunshine State Showdown," coming to an end. 
The Bolts jumped out to an immediate lead in the first and showed their mettle behind goalie Andrei Vasilevskiy, who stopped every shot in his first shutout of this post season.
Now, Tampa Bay awaits either Carolina or Nashville in the next round.
