  • 34. Untold-Crime and Penalties
*DISCLAIMER*, in the episode, I mistakenly call the movie "Crime and Punishment", when in fact, it is called "Crime and Penalties". I apologize for the error; however my mistake does not change the context of the film or the podcast.

In the latest episode of "Lights, Camera, Gold", Rachael delves into one of the craziest sports stories you will ever hear. It is so wacky you can't believe it's real. But it is, and it's ridiculous. This is of course, "Untold: Crimes and Penalties" , the new movie as part of Netflix series of sports documentary features about some of the most unusual stories in sports. This one, released just in time for the start of the NHL season, deals with a minor pro hockey team in a Connecticut town, owned by a man, (according to the documentary) known as"the real life Tony Soprano". The team is the Danbury Trashers, and the President and GM of the Trashers is the owner's 17-year-old son (seriously!).
