A tale as old as the bible, but with a ghostly twist. A mother and her two sons, Thomas, a good, loving man, keeping the family a float with his meager earnings; Paddy, his brother, is just the opposite- mean-spirited and lazy. Its the day of Thomas’ wedding, and his brother comes to him with a story of treasures under the sea. “It will only take a couple of hours”, says Paddy, “and then you’ll have money to be married with”. So the two take to the sea, but the sea takes its payment and only one man returns. . . Reviewed by Sarah B.
