Today’s Scripture:

‭‭‭1 John 1:5-7 NIV‬

This is the message we have heard from him and declare to you: God is light; in him there is no darkness at all. If we claim to have fellowship with him and yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not live out the truth. But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin.

Truth, that's what we all want. Truth is another way of saying light, or having revelation. When light comes revelation comes and truth is established. The Bible says, God is light and in him there is no darkness. If you are living in darkness but think you are following Christ, you are a liar because those who live in the light live by the truth of the revelation of God's word.

When light comes truth is evident and truths elevates and brings illumination. He says, those who live by the truth, or by the light of the word live by the truth of the revelation of God's word. Truth will always bring light. If you are in a place and it remains dark light is not in you.

Darkness is the absence of light. When we live beneath what God has called us to we are living in darkness and there's no one that benefits from us because there's no light source to shine into their dark situations. He has made us light as he is light, we must live as we are children of the light.

Darkness equals fruitlessness. It results in death, bareness. But we are light, we follow the light of truth. He says, live as children of the light, what does that look like? We have results, we bear fruits of goodness, righteousness, and truth. There's that word again, truth. Light always results in truth. It reveals Christ because he says I am the way, the truth, if we are children of the light, we live as righteous and godly people on the earth.

Family, truth is light, it produces light, and darkness always results in fruitlessness, and lies, and unrighteousness. If you find that you are not living a life of truth and goodness, and righteousness, you must check your truth bank, check your light source and see if you are living according to the light of God's word and truth.

We are near to represent the kingdom of God not our agenda, light must be sent in us and through us for others to come to Christ. Truth is the way, it gives light to our pathway. Follow the light of truth. We represent the kingdom of God on the earth, light must be seen in us and through us.
