From the 9:30am Mass at the National Shrine of the Little Flower Basilica, Royal Oak, on Sunday, February 25, 2024, the Second Sunday of Lent, Year B.
(FYI: Our new sound system at the Shrine is sounding amazing! ...but we still don't have the recording system set up (waiting for a part). So, I put my phone by a speaker in the rectory and recorded it that way. The quality of the recording is better than I expected, but still not as good as a proper recorder.)
Main point of the homily: Is God really our number 1? Do we even place Him above our children?
