From the noon Mass on Sunday, April 19, 2026, the Third Sunday of Easter at St. Peter Catholic Church in Mount Clemens.
I didn't really like how my prepared homily turned out, so I was kind of winging it. The main point I was trying to get across was: We live Lent so well, but what do we do for the Easter Season? The Apostles walked with Jesus before He died (Lent), but it wasn't until they met the Risen Lord (Easter) that they were really set on fire. Catholic tend to live Lent well, but what are we doing for Easter? What are we doing to meet the Resurrected Christ?
The 10am Mass was livestreamed (found here, homily starts at 18:18). At the beginning of the homily I call up a couple of our first graders and we have a whole lot of fun.
