Kathryn Reynolds was sustained this past weekend in General Conference as a member of the Young Women General Advisory Council (with President Emily Belle Freeman) for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She has served in many other church capacities, including Relief Society General Advisory Council (with President Jean Bingham, 2020-22). Kathryn earned an associate degree in health science from BYU–Idaho, a bachelor’s degree in family and human development and a master’s degree in marriage and family therapy from BYU. She currently works as a licensed marriage and family therapist (LMFT).
When Cathy was a single mom, she met Kathryn in a large Single Adult Ward in Bountiful, Utah (2015). Kathryn is not yet married and is a passionate advocate for single adults in the church. Having served closely with many well known church leaders, she knows first hand they are not out of touch with the trials and disappointments we face. In association with the single adult initiative, we are reaching out for constructive feedback. If you would like to share your thoughts as a single member, email us at [email protected]. We need your voice!
Enjoy this illuminating dialogue about faith, confidence, ambiguous loss, trusting heaven, thinking about our various life circumstances in ways that affirm our unique paths, attracting people into our lives who are good for us, and knowing that God cares about our joy and our wants. #single #church #interview
