Lost In The Night
Through misty streets they wander alone,
Tears and hidden silence, hearts turned to stone.
In dimly lit cafes they seek refuge,
On the empty chairs that mock, a melancholy deluge.
For in the cold embrace of the night,
Connections spark, the lonely find respite.
Though rain may fall, and loneliness may stay,
Together, they endure, till dawn's first ray.
Lamp posts flicker, casting a golden hue,
Footsteps echo, dancing with the midnight dew,
A solitary saxophone weaves its tale,
Through the alleyways, it sails and wails.
