I started studying astrology in January 2019, when I decided I needed to make sense of why my life had been a mess for the two years leading up to that moment. Turns out I was going through a 6th House Saturn Return and my Saturn happens to be square my 10th House Sun, showing a deranged relationship with authority or being told what to do and a heavy mistrust of doctors.
After being hospitalized for an emergency surgery, I spent two weeks in the hospital recovering. I spent most of my time going over the astrology of different events in my life, finding the deeper meaning of each one. I felt more healed and more alive than ever before. By February 22, 2021, I was a fully practicing astrologer and had moved from astrology meme enthusiast to astrologer to influential clients. I continue to make waves for them from a distance and they continue to credit their confidence of their success to my reports and predictions, which brings me so much joy.
The soul’s purpose and soul’s journey are one in the same, both are worth searching for and living for every day. Astrology helps us see ourselves on a molecular level even though we are dealing with the study of the cosmos, the most giant and unknown place in the Universe. The ability to be defined by a symbol, a degree, a sign, a house, or an aspect. through the eyes of astrology makes us all seem interconnected. There is no superior being, there is only the one supreme connection through all of us, the human consciousness.
With astrology, we are all equal. We are simply a circle with a bunch of lines, symbols, numbers and angles drawn up and from there astrologers can peer into your soul and find the root cause of all the pain and frustration within your life, or running working ourselves to have it all.
Through my years of being a professional astrologer, I’ve found the craft helps people feel more like themselves. For years I tried to be the straight laced and attention to detail oriented corporate robot until I realized I didn’t have to be a puppet anymore. I was working in sports media (I was Kansas City’s first female sports radio host in 2017) as well as working in marketing with pro-athletes before I decided to walk away from it all and form my own media network. For a while, I was fulfilled but I was not helping others realize their magic and therefore not living up to my true role as a public healer.
If people saw themselves for who they truly are on paper, not what society wants them to be to fit a certain box, more people would be truly happy. I tried for so long to fit into the labels and boxes others people were comfortable with placing me in and keeping me contained that it almost broke me. Today I am a recovering people pleaser and have no intentions of walking back on the boundaries that have kept me at peace since finding I was capable and deserving of setting those boundaries.

After finding out about astrology, my speech impediment and my career in media was destined to happen, all of it was in my chart. The beauty of astrology is the fact there is no “end” to it all. I can look up a chart from the birth of Jesus around 7 B.C. to the end of time if necessary. There is no limit and there is always a planet present, an aspect happening or an explanation through the skies. “There is no easy way from the earth to the stars” is one of my favorite sayings, translated to “Non est ad astra mollis e terris via”.
