Description:
Welcome back to Limitless Livin’! In Season 2, Episode 10, we’re taking on Tyler Perry’s Why Did I Get Married? trilogy and asking one of the biggest questions in any relationship: Why did you get married AGAIN? Using the marriages, mistakes, betrayals, arguments, and unforgettable moments from Why Did I Get Married?, Why Did I Get Married Too?, and Why Did I Get Married Again?, we take some of the biggest issues from the movies and discuss what they would look like in a real marriage. From Sheila and Mike’s painful relationship to Angela and Marcus’ nonstop chaos, Terry and Diane’s disconnect, and Patricia trying to give marriage advice while struggling in her own relationship, there was PLENTY to talk about. And since we’ve been married almost 27 years, we had a few opinions of our own.
In This Episode, We Talk About:
- How spouses should handle physical changes, aging, weight gain, and attraction without humiliating each other
- Whether a marriage can recover after infidelity, especially when the affair involves someone close to your spouse - How friends should handle their relationships with a couple when that marriage is going through separation or divorce
- How caring for aging or sick parents can put pressure on a marriage
- Whether temporarily giving your spouse more access to your phone or whereabouts can help rebuild trust after infidelity
- Why boundaries with the other parent become extremely important in blended families - Why marital arguments should usually stay private instead of becoming entertainment for friends and family
- Whether past hurt can explain bad behavior without excusing it
- How suspicion and insecurity can push someone toward extreme decisions, like secretly questioning paternity
- Why people can give incredible relationship advice while struggling to apply that same wisdom to their own lives
- And finally, the question that started the entire trilogy: Why did WE get married?
The movies may take some situations to the extreme, but underneath all the drama are real issues that married couples face every day: trust, communication, forgiveness, boundaries, intimacy, family, friendship, sacrifice, and commitment. For us, the answer to “Why did we get married?” comes back to love, partnership, becoming one, building a life together, and believing we had found the person we wanted to share everything with. Almost 27 years later, we still believe marriage can be one of the best decisions you’ll ever make when you find someone you truly want to do life with.

Season 2, Episode 8: The Present PAST
Description:
Welcome back to Limitless Livin’! In Season 2, Episode 8, we explore how experiences from childhood, previous relationships, personal mistakes, family upbringing, and painful seasons within marriage can continue influencing the present. “The Present Past” is an honest conversation about disclosure, emotional baggage, jealousy, trust, forgiveness, communication, healing, and learning from the past without allowing it to control your relationship.
In This Episode, We Talk About:
* Why it may be impossible to forget the past, but possible to stop dwelling on it
* What parts of your past should be disclosed before marriage
* Why the things you are embarrassed or afraid for your spouse to discover may be the most important things to reveal
* How couples can identify the specific questions they need answered before getting married
* How childhood experiences shape adult habits, communication styles, and relationship expectations
* Why understanding how your spouse was raised can create compassion for behaviors that once frustrated you
* Whether your spouse should participate in your healing or leave you responsible for fixing yourself
* Why every couple must learn to trust each other from the present forward
* How bringing old offenses back into the present can become an internal battle, even when they are never spoken aloud
* How unaddressed issues and closed communication contributed to the season when we almost divorced
* How the present gives you an opportunity to change what your past will mean for your future

We are Limitless Livin’ without the G.
Description:
Welcome back to Limitless Livin’! In Season 2, Episode 7, we explore what happens when two people in the same marriage grow at different speeds, develop different dreams, and approach change in completely different ways. “Growing Pains” is an honest conversation about personal evolution, ambition, contentment, compromise, and supporting your spouse without losing yourself.
After nearly 27 years of marriage, we reflect on how raising five children, changing careers, pursuing new dreams, and navigating difficult seasons have shaped us individually and as a couple. We also debate whether spouses should provide 100% support, whether support requires matching enthusiasm, and how couples can keep moving forward without leaving each other behind.
In This Episode, We Talk About:
From dream boards and career changes to motorcycles, music production, health scares, and honest disagreements, this episode shows that growth within marriage is rarely comfortable or perfectly synchronized. Growing pains can be difficult, but they can also be fruitful when both people remain committed to becoming better individually and stronger together.

Season 2 - Episode 5: We Need to Talk
Description:
Welcome back to Limitless Livin’! In Season 2, Episode 5, we dive into four words that can make almost anybody nervous: “We need to talk.” This episode is all about tough conversations in marriage, why we avoid them, how we mishandle them, and what it takes to speak truth in love without turning every serious discussion into a fight.
In This Episode, We Discuss:
* Why the words “we need to talk” can create anxiety before the conversation even starts
* Why some people avoid tough conversations because they fear drama more than the truth itself
* The difference between saying nothing, saying something wrong, and learning to say it the right way
* How staying quiet to keep the peace can sometimes create more damage later
* Why there may never be a perfect time for a difficult conversation, but the right environment matters
* How blame, interruption, and lack of accountability can quickly make a conversation go left
* Why honesty should always be paired with gentleness, even when the truth is hard to hear
* How to recognize when someone may not be ready to receive what you need to say
* Why listening sometimes means resisting the urge to interject, correct, or debate
* Why not every thought needs to be spoken, especially if it adds no value or healing
* How normal conversations can suddenly become arguments when deeper issues are hiding underneath
* Why misunderstandings happen when people listen casually instead of listening to comprehend
* How asking clarifying questions can prevent unnecessary conflict
* How speaking your needs clearly gives your spouse a better chance to love you well

Season 2, Episode 2: The F Word Description:
Welcome back to Limitless Livin’! In Season 2, Episode 2, we dive into a word that makes a lot of people uncomfortable for real, but it is also one of the most freeing things you can practice: forgiveness. “The F Word” is all about what forgiveness is, what it isn’t, and why so many relationships stay stuck because people confuse forgiving with pretending, excusing, or suppressing.
We talk through the real tension, how you can forgive someone without punishing them forever, why forgiveness is often more about your healing than their comfort, and how boundaries, communication, and changed behavior fit into the process. From small everyday offenses to deep betrayal, we unpack how forgiveness works when emotions don’t disappear overnight, and how reconciliation is a separate decision that has to be earned and protected.

From Disney Paris highs to everyday presence at home, this episode is all about noticing what mattered, keeping what worked, and building on what is still in progress.
