When Jesus was asked who is the greatest in the kingdom of Heaven, he said that “unless you become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven”. In another chapter, He says that “the greatest among you must be a servant to all”...  and in Matthew 20: 16 Jesus says So the last will be first, and the first will be last. This is what our host, Helen Todd, calls the “upside down nature of the Kingdom of God “.

 As we continue our series “That’s Kingdom”, Helen Todd speaks with Eric Scott, the campus pastor of The King’s University in Texas, who will be speaking at the Greater Purpose conference at the end of March 2022. He will be preaching from Matthew 18:3 at the conference.

Psalm 97 says that righteousness and justice are the foundation of God’s throne. God is just, and we can’t talk about His kingdom without talking about justice.

As we continue our series “That’s Kingdom”, our host Helen Todd speaks with Dr. Jay Bruce. Jay is a professor of philosophy at John Brown University and the founder and director of the Center for Faith and Flourishing.  Host Helen Todd interviews her father-in-law, Dr. Cecil Todd, founder of Revival Fires Ministries.  During seven decades of ministry, he has traveled to all 50 states and 22 countries to preach the message of Christianity. In 1966, he launched a nationwide television program called ‘Revival Fires’ that was picked up by 200 stations and ran for 20 years producing nine hundred 30-minute episodes. Todd has also counseled two presidents, President Ronald Reagan and President Gerald Ford. President Reagan was also featured on one of Todd’s television specials.

This week on the Limitless Spirit Podcast, we’re starting a new series called “That’s Kingdom”, based on the World Mission Alliance’s upcoming conference on March 30,31 and April 1, 2022. 

 We will be focusing on various aspects of the Kingdom of God and how it is applicable to the believers in Christ. To start the series, our host Helen Todd has a conversation with Os Guinness about his family’s unique legacy in the mission field, the condition of the American church today and what it takes for us to become citizens in the Kingdom.

 Os Guinness is an author, social critic, and great-great-great grandson of Arthur Guinness, the Dublin brewer. His family was prominent in the Irish revival and involved in missionary work in China including partnership with the famous missionary to China, Hudson Taylor. Os has written or edited more than 30 books that offer valuable insight into the cultural, political, and social contexts in which we all live. He completed his undergraduate degree at the University of London and his D.Phil. in the social sciences from Oriel College, Oxford.

 In this episode, our host Helen Todd talks with Marzieh Amirizadeh, who spent nine months in the most brutal prison of Iran because of her faith in Christ.

She was sentenced to death by hanging for refusing to deny her faith. In this interview Marzieh shares how she found Christ in Iran, how she had a supernatural encounter with the Holy Spirit and what motivated her to stand firm for Christ in the most severe circumstances.
