What if you could tear down those walls that were mistakenly built to keep you from being hurt and broken?
In today’s episode, you’ll be listening in to a conversation I had with Shameka Daniels about her struggles with being hurt and broken. As we get hurt, we build walls. We do this by stacking layer after layer to protect ourselves from ever being hurt again. But during this time of building, we actually begin to isolate, become bitter, and stay angry. So how do you begin the process of tearing down that wall? In this honest episode, Shameka was trying to get everything from everybody and didn’t realize that there are certain things only God could provide.
So sit back and listen in, as Shameka shares her personal experience with going back to the root to find out where all of her brokenness had started. Can’t wait for you to hear Shameka’s insight and inspiration. See you inside…
[Shameka and her husband, Dharius Daniels, are pastors of the Change Church.]

How do we learn to recognize and respond to God’s voice? Seems like God would speak directly to us, right? But not necessarily in the way we always think...
I loved my recent conversation with the amazing Jenny Randle, author of GETTING TO KNOW GOD’S VOICE. Jenny gets so real about her early years in church as a young believer and shares her experience of the “why” behind writing GETTING TO KNOW GOD’S VOICE. In her confusion with some corruption she saw in the church, Jenny was led to seek the truth about how to experience God in a real and authentic way.

How do you move from a place of hurting to a place of hope? Karrie Garcia, pastor, life coach, author and founder of The Freedom Movement openly shares her own journey to freedom from drug addiction, the suicide of her mother, and the breakdown of her first marriage. She has made it her mission to inspire others and create space for people to know they are not alone and that God is for them. Karrie is one of my favorite people in the entire world. We met while traveling to Thailand for a vision trip and actually ended up being roommates on the trip. Here’s the thing I love about Karrie-- she is her own person--who you see is who you always see. Karrie is tenacious and bold. She has such freedom in being herself, and I know that you will love her as much as I do. It’s no accident that you’re tuning in today. I believe you will find some solid encouragement as you listen in to my conversation with Karrie Garcia.

How do you keep your past from creeping into your present? Nicole Crank has a backstory including physical abuse, molestation, rape and being a single unwed mother. Despite everything that has happened in her past, she continually holds onto this, “My past may be a place of origination, but it is not a place of residency.” Nicole is co-lead pastor of Faith Church, a wife and a mom, a sought-after speaker and the host of her own tv program, The Nicole Crank Show. In this episode, Nicole and I talk about the ways she continues to lead with confidence and purpose despite everything she has gone through. I’m so glad you’re tuning in today for this conversation. Sit back, listen in, and be encouraged today, as I talk with Nicole Crank.

In this episode, you’ll be listening to a conversation I had with Heather Palacios, the founder of WondHerful, a mission dedicated to mental health and suicide extinction. We talked during the Covid-19 season about how she learned to manage her mental health through that time of social distancing. When I met Heather in 2011, I immediately loved her. She is vivacious and bold, but what I didn’t know was that underneath it all, she was dealing with mental illness and had been from the time she was 8 years old when she wrote a letter to her grandparents telling them that she didn’t want to live. This episode is one that is helpful for anyone who is struggling with their mental health.
So listen in as Heather and I talk about Five Things to Keep Your Sanity While in Isolation.
