Reace and LaToya Wilson make music that inspires life at Sumthin Bout Favor Music in St. Louis, Missouri. The husband and wife team started the record company, recording, web design, photography, audio and video production studio in 2008.

Since then they have worked with chart topping artists Jibbs, Nelly and Bruno Mars. According to Reace, Sumthin Bout Favor has produced hit music across genres, from hip- hop and rap, to inspirational music. He calls it , "life music." “We’ve work with hip-hop artists, inspirational artists, and we even produced OWN’s “Welcome To Sweetie Pies” reality TV star, Miss Robbie Montgomery’s line dance song, “Do The Sweetie Pie.” And we’ll be producing music for her son and business partner, Tim Norman’s hip-hop project," said Reace.

The artists signed to the Sumthin Bout Favor Music record label, include LaToya Wilson and rapper DFizzle. DFizzle released his sophomore mix-tape, “Soul Food Chapter 2” featuring the single, “Beautiful,” featuring Lloyd Nicks in March 2014.

Tony, Luther, Jamie, Carl and Rodney Wardlaw, better known as The Wardlaw Brothers aka TWB recently wrapped up a summer tour in the U.S. promoting their indie new release GOD'S BEEN THERE.

Thanks to their branding and marketing consultant, Benita Bellamy of the Bellamy Group, I had the chance to interview them in St. Louis between soup and salad at the St. Louis Bread Co. And oh how I love their cheddar broccoli soup!

TWB’s single, the quartet flavored "Right Now Lord” is riding high on the Gospel charts. It reached #26 on the Gospel Billboard Radio Chart. And while that song is still going strong, the siblings from Vidalia, GA have released another single, “Hallelujah,” an electronic infused praise anthem to Christian Radio that is being received well by audiences across genres and formats. It has been added to 52 Christian Radio stations and is continuing to garner adds and spins.

I talked with The Wardlaw Brothers about their music, what it’s like being raised in the church, their temptation to go to the other side and more.
