The Wild West is kind of a romanticized almost legendary era in American history. It was a time of larger than life figures. Cowboys and outlaws. Lawmen and gun fighters. Now how truly violent and wild the wild west was is debatable but there was at least one region that more than earned its reputation for violence and that was Lincoln County New Mexico.
