At Ecologistas en Acción we have been fighting against lindane contamination for years, and a few years ago we managed to bring the issue to the European Parliament (EP). The EP commissioned a report to assess the situation in Europe. The report is quite illuminating on the fact that lindane contamination is still a structural problem in many places in Europe.
