  Jesus and His Authority

This lesson, based on Mark chapter 5, explores three different individuals, how they respond to Jesus, and how he interacts with them. The three character studies are: (1) the man with the unclean spirit known as Legion, (2) Jairus, the synagogue ruler, and (3) the woman with the discharge of blood.  The lesson demonstrates that Jesus has authority over spirits, the physical realm, and death,  and his compassion is for all in every circumstance. He is able to bring peace in the midst of chaos.

The Golden Rule

This lesson explores the teaching of Jesus commonly referred to as “The Golden rule”.  The lesson has three primary points: (1) the Golden rule explained, (2) the depth of the command, and (3) the application of the teaching.  The lesson concludes with the encouragement to not just admire the Golden Rule, rather we need to live it out in our lives.

This lesson discusses the victory we have in Jesus, which is central to Christianity. The two main themes covered are the gift of victory and the secret of living in victory.  The lesson concludes with the encouragement that Jesus’ victory is our victory when we are born again.  If you are not born again, the time to be is right now!
