骑马与音乐剧，文武双全夏令营

上次我们说了天才夏令营。这回说说其他种类的夏令营。还是请小主播Lindsay来分享她的体会。
L：Hello everyone, how is your summer so far
Q: 大家的暑假过的怎么样啊？在中国可能暑假才刚刚开始吧？但是暑假的起始日期在美国各个校区都有自己的规定。有些校区六月初就开始放暑假，当然开学也会早些。Lindsay, when did your summer vacation start?
L: Our school defines summer vacation from June 22nd to September 2nd. It is the best time of the year.
Q：你还参加过哪些印象深刻的夏令营
L：Riding camp and drama camp.
Q: Riding camp就是骑马夏令营。Drama Camp是一种百老汇形式的戏剧舞台演出夏令营。
L： In riding camp, we learned how to ride horses, take care of them, and how to set up to ride them. Before camp started, you had to buy a special riding uniform of tough pants, a helmet, gloves, and riding boots.
Q: 怎么骑马，怎么照顾马，怎么上好马具。还要买骑马套装，那种有保护的裤子，头盔，手套和靴子。在长岛有相当多的马场，骑马是女孩子里热门的爱好。
Q: Tell us more about drama camp.
L: In drama camp we put on a musical with our own costumes. We had a script and the counselors picked out our roles. We had props, and a set. Every few days we would have a rehearsal altogether, and at the end when everything was finished, all the other camp kids and our parents came to watch the completed show.  
Q：这种戏剧夏令营要演出带化妆的音乐剧。会发下剧本，老师会分配角色下来。有道具和舞台背景。每过几天大家会一起彩排，最后会正式表演给家长们和所有其他夏令营的孩子。你们看专辑封面，那就是Lindsay参加的一个戏剧夏令营的彩排。规模很庞大的样子呢！
