Linetalkers

Join me as I sit down with Donavan Whyms, a lineman in the Bahamas as he talks about last year's Hurricane Dorian. Hear him describe the devastation firsthand and discuss the ongoing rebuilding operations in the Abaco Islands.

Join Kim for her debut as a solo podcast host as she sits down with Jessica Hendrickson, a Manager of Transmission Construction. From humble beginnings as an IBEW meter reader to the lead Project Manager on one of the largest storm rebuilds ever to be completed, Even with a very busy and demanding career, She also finds time to volunteer serving as a Guardian Ad Litem which is a court appointed advocate that represents children who have been abandoned or removed from the home due to abuse or neglect. Jessica is a true "Superwoman" who proves you can do both anything and everything once you put your mind to it.

Join me in our first episode in a series that highlights a successful woman who represents so many associated with the industry who have achieved a great achievement. This show is about Lee Fowler, a native Kentuckian, who went for a walk on the Appalachian Trail. Then some 2,200 miles & 5 months later, taught us how to overcome daily setbacks and obstacles one step at a time.

Join Kim and me for an impromptu conversation about the Public Safety Power Shutoff (PSPS) that was implemented this week in California. This episode is dedicated to the great men and women of the West Coast who build and maintain the electric system in one of the most harsh and remote terrains found anywhere in the United States. They have become the ones who are constantly finding themselves in the line of fire time after time. #linetalkers #podcast #pgewives #linewives #linefamily #linelife #lineman #psps
