Link To The Cast

And we are back with our first Grap Up of 2019! We kinda had to as every January 4th we get the other Granddaddy of them all, Wrestle Kindom. New Japan Pro Wrestling offered us another stacked card this year, so Mark and special guest Bryan Rose @br26 sat down to discuss all the happenings from the Tokyo Dome, plus the fallout from the next night's New Years' Dash as well as wondering where the company might be heading in 2019.

Thanks for listening! We'll be back to talk about the Rumble at the end of the month.

*Hitman 2 and Guacamelee 2 provide more of the same, which isn't necessarily a bad thing.

*Sony pulls out of E3

*Cliffy B takes his chainsaw and goes home

*Some early rumours of what we might see at The Game Awards aka The Keighleys this year?

Our Book Club this week casts an eye to our year end festivities as we start our look at out Game of The Year nominees with OnRush, Yoku's Island Express, and God of War

*The NXT UK contract bomb that dropped this week.

*Assessing OTT's phenomenal 2018.

*One month out from the end of the year, what would win our

match/wrestler of the year?

We'll be back around Royal Rumble time, but in the meantime enjoy yourselves some graps kids!

Oh hey! Thanks for stopping by. It's Dave's turn to a do a disappearing act this week, but don't worry, as usual, Jack is here to keep the ship steady.

- Detective Pikachu is kind of amazing

- Stan Lee RIP

- Mega Man 11 is destroying Mark

- Nintendo sue for $12 million about some ROMs

- We discuss the latest controversy surrounding YouTube and RDR2

Finally, for a book club this week, we take a chance to talk about a game we couldn't do when Dave is around (he doesn't like it) as Mark and Jack journey back to 2008 to talk about Grand Theft Auto IV - with minimal cousin Nico jokes.

Howdy all,

Link to the Cast here, saddling up for yet another adventure. Tip your ha.....never mind. Jack Layzell stands in for Mark this week as he and Dave talk about all the latest and greatest in video games, including:

repeated attempts to derail ourselves into a Popcorn Social episode with a big TV catch up.

Some new game about the Old West?

Ever think those Pokémon needed some Jesus?

And in our Book Club, a game that has been a glaring omission from our hallowed halls thus far: Resident Evil!

Greetings traveller, and welcome to another edition of Link to the Cast! The boys return for a much less problematic recording session where they discuss:

Mark's thoughts on Spider-Man

Dave's early Tomb Raider impressions.

PS4 name changes finally on the way.

Rockstar put foot in mouth over crunch issues.

Our books club this week certainly dates our hosts as 90s kids, as we go back to a time where games on a phone were a mind-blowing concept: Snake!

Dave is off to Germany this weekend, but the lads make sure the pod train keeps on a rollin' with this week's ep:

*Some tv chat as Mark actually remembers what the box his furniture points at does.

*Dave's revisiting some stuff before jumping into Tomb Raider soon

*A Harry Potter RPG is on the way

*Seattle PD attempt to tackle the serious issue of swatting.

Our book club tackles the game that got Insomniac to the outrageous hit of this year's Spider-Man: the underrated Sunset Overdrive!
