Rev. Dr. Marisha talks about how we look for love in the wrong places. Oftentimes we look for love in other relationships which is based on what we see in the natural not based on what really goes on behind closed doors. We get caught up in being jealous looking at other relationships not realizing what God has for us is for us. As a result, we struggle to wait in the process.  Hear how Rev. Dr. Marisha talks about our biggest culprits in looking for love in all the wrong places are connected to: trusting God in his process and promise,  waiting on God to bring who he wants in our life, putting band-aids on our scars, jumping in and out of relationships, and looking back at what was and not in the here and now.

One of the biggest hinderances is believing beyond our own abilities and then waiting for the manifestation. Our free will has the ability to offset our mindset giving us a false sense of reality in what we can do; however, in this life we can't do nothing without God. It is all about resetting our mindset in a way that helps us to believe to let go of what we can do and let God take control. We struggle as a human race to believe beyond ourselves but with God all things are possible if we take the limits of what God can do.

Dr.Martin Luther King Jr that opens our minds to how it was all about how he responded to others that was key to his influence and impact.  Oftentimes when one is hurt, misused, abused, slandered or stabbed in the back, it is not your first instinct to respond in love. Nevertheless, it is insightful and amazing how Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. always responded with 3 virtues that attributed to his staircase mindset to see beyond what others could see and that is: faith, hope and love. When one responds from that perspective then change will happen but it is all about changing our mindset first before we see change. The world is still seeing the residue from those 3 virtues that he showed the world that is still a change agent for the greater good eve in society today.

Hindsight is 20/20 and we have had a year of a lifetime in 2020 but the question lies in "what did you learn?" Rev. Dr. Marisha talks about how we need to make more of connection with out past in a way that allows us to remember how much God was with us through it all. It is not about looking back in the past with regrets, blame, shame or even glamorizing what was but realizing that your past was a set up for where God is taking you in this season. This is no time to be scared of the giants because God has already overcome them for you if you realize that life doesn't happen to you but through you.

This has been the deepest wrinkle we all experienced but it still never negates that God has more to come and your latter shall be greater than your past.
