What happens when motherhood becomes one of the ways God transforms you?

In our fourth episode of Liora Live, we have an honest conversation about motherhood, co-parenting, forgiveness and what it looks like to allow God to work in the middle of complicated family dynamics.

We talk about the anger, bitterness and unforgiveness that can come from difficult circumstances, and why forgiveness is ultimately about what God is doing in us - not simply what happens with the other person.

We explore what it means to trust God with our children, our marriages and the things we can’t control, including learning when to step back and let the Holy Spirit do His work.

And we go deeper into what it means to steward the children God has entrusted to us - recognising that while we’re raising them, God is raising us too.

Motherhood doesn’t mean we’ve arrived.

We’re still being healed.

We’re still being pruned.

We’re still becoming.

Doing God’s Will | When God’s Plan Interrupts Yours

What happens when God’s plan doesn’t look like yours?

Sometimes, doing God’s will sounds simple - until His will asks us to do something we don’t feel like doing.

In this episode of Liora Live, we start with Jonah - because if we’re honest, we were Jonah too. We talk about what happens when God’s plans interrupt our own, and how easily our feelings, preferences and understanding can become louder than God’s voice.

We explore the tension between what we feel and what God has said, why our feelings can’t be King and what it looks like to let go of our own plans and get on board with His.

We also talk about being intentional about including God in our everyday lives, learning to recognise His voice, and the questions that come when we’re wondering, “Did I actually hear God?”

Because hearing God isn’t just about one big moment of revelation. It’s about relationship. The more we communicate with our Father, the more familiar His voice becomes.

And sometimes, doing God’s will isn’t about understanding the whole plan.

It’s simply about trusting Him enough to get on board.

What happens when the enemy gets you to question what God has said?

In our second episode of Liora Live, we go back to the beginning - to Eve, the garden, and the subtle question that changed everything: “Did God really say…?”

We talk about the battle for a woman’s identity and how easily the enemy can distort what God has created us to be.

From the messages society sends women about who we need to be, to the ways our own experiences, disappointments and wounds can shape us, we explore how we can sometimes become a version of ourselves that was built for survival rather than the woman God actually called us to be.

And we go deeper into why being saved doesn’t necessarily mean we’re healed.

What patterns have we carried with us?

What behaviours have become normal to us?

What thought processes are shaping our identity?

And how active are we actually being in our own healing?

This conversation isn’t about blaming women for the things we’ve experienced. It’s about recognising what has shaped us, bringing it before God and being willing to allow Him to transform us.

Because sometimes the question isn’t “Who am I?”

It’s “Who has God called me to be - and what has gotten in the way?”
