Gautama Buddha was an ascetic and spiritual teacher of ancient India who lived during the latter half of the first millennium BCE. 

He was the founder of Buddhism and is revered by Buddhists as an Enlightened being whose teachings sought a path to freedom from ignorance, craving, rebirth and suffering.

So how does one go about finding peace within if they do not have peace within? I think it lies within the ability to connect with past peaceful experiences or in creating new ones.

Oscar Wilde came from a prominent family. While studying at Oxford in the 1870s, he gained notice as a scholar, poseur, wit, and poet and for his devotion to the  Aesthetic movement, which held that art should exist for its beauty alone. Wilde later established himself in London's social and artistic circles.
