Lisa is a Diabetes Care and Education Specialist passionate about helping others, which started with helping her mother with diabetes.  She shares her experience developing diabetes, diabetic retinopathy, and strokes.  She has a wealth of professional and personal experience with diabetes, and she hopes that sharing her experience will allow others not to feel so alone on their parallel journey.
