In this lesson, we discuss Acts 25 and 26. In this passage, Paul makes his defense before the new governor Festus and then before King Agrippa. Paul will once again tell his personal story of conversion and commissioning, asserting he is innocent of all charges brought by the Jews. The passage concludes with Paul finally being sent to Rome.

In Acts 23:12-24:27, Paul will escape a plot on his life and will defend himself before the governor against charges of rabble rousing and profaning the temple.

This lesson discusses Acts 21:17-23:11. Paul is imprisoned and defends himself before the Jews in Jerusalem and then before the Sanhedrin.

Acts 19 relates Paul's missionary endeavors in Ephesus. As was usually the case, the gospel proves to be polarizing, prompting both repentance and belief as well as opposition and, in this case, an outright mob scene.

In Acts 16, Paul takes a seemingly contradictory action, the Philippian church is established with an unlikely set of new converts, and Paul and Silas offer a sacrifice of praise.

After a couple of technological failures, we finally have new audio to post! Acts 15 has been called the turning point or centerpiece of the entire book and I think you'll see why in this lesson. The events of this chapter were critical for the implications of the gospel and the future of the church.

In this lesson we discuss Acts 11:19-12:25. We learn about the expansion of the gospel to Antioch as well as the intensified persecution the believers faced. Peter experiences a miraculous rescue and Herod receives his due.

This lesson covers Acts 10:1-11:18 which includes the account of Cornelius' conversion. Peter and Cornelius both receive a vision from God and both men are faithful to submit to the revelation of God. This is an exciting chapter in the life of the church as the gospel breaks down ethnic boundaries; the gospel is indeed the power of God for salvation for all peoples!

Acts 9 records the conversion of Saul of Tarsus. What an encouraging passage! We see the power of the gospel to save and to transform, we see the humble faithfulness of Ananias and Barnabas, and we are reminded that no one is beyond the reach of the Lord.
