Psalm 98 invites us to make a joyful noise to the Lord for He has done marvelous things in His salvation of His people!

In Psalm 77, the psalmist demonstrates the crucial importance of remembering God's faithfulness. Through difficulty and struggles, we can be confident in the Lord's tender care and concern as our good Shepherd. 

In Psalm 56, David shows us how to trust in God even when facing opposition and struggles. Our fears expose who we trust and what we value; how do we fight fear and choose faith?

Psalm 51 is another song of David and with this psalm we are given the historical context behind its composition. We will discuss the events surrounding the psalm in addition to its call to repentance and confession before the Lord. Much as we did when we studied Psalm 32, we will celebrate the free forgiveness and abundant mercy we have in the Lord. He is gracious and good!

In this lesson we discuss both Psalms 42 and 43. There are reasons to conclude that these may have been a single song at one time. They certainly both advance a similar theme of seeking God in the midst of great heartache and despair.

Psalm 37 draws a rather stark contrast between the way of the Lord and the ways of wrongdoers and offers to us a strong word of encouragement and warning.
