In Episode 62 of DON’T LIE TO YOUR LIFE COACH, Life Coach and Host Kim Arrington is giving you a Trigger Warning that she'll be discussing death by suicide in this episode. It's National Suicide Prevention Week, and Coach Kim wants to talk to the survivors of the almost 50,000 Americans and 1 million people worldwide, who die by suicide each year. Death by suicide is an international public health crisis, that leaves many times those numbers connected to the person that dies, in grief, shame, and disbelief. Coach Kim is sharing her personal story of how a recent loved one's death by suicide made her want to think of ways to support the people who are left trying to figure out why this tragedy happened. Maybe this episode has more questions than answers, but it's clear we must talk more openly and honestly about the impact of death by suicide.
If you, or another person, is considering suicide, please call, text, or chat 988 to the 988 Suicide and Crisis Hotline, and seek emergency mental health intervention immediately.
