In Episode 118 of DON’T LIE TO YOUR LIFE COACH, Life Coach and Host Kim Arrington is sick of y'all thinking you are just defective! Ironically, this episode was recorded in August 2022, when Kim was getting over being sick from Covid. She had to remind herself during Covid isolation and recovery to notice what was going right, despite difficult circumstances. One of Coach Kim's biggest jobs as a coach is reminding her clients what's working for them in their lives too. It's very common to feel overwhelmed with all the things that need fixin' when you're on a healing journey. Listeners will learn some transformative questions to see what's going right in your life. Even if you are working through things you want to change. It actually makes the changes go faster, when you're able to see all that's going right in your life. In Episode 117 of DON’T LIE TO YOUR LIFE COACH, Life Coach and Host Kim Arrington is taking you back to the famous movies about the cartoon character, Superman. Whenever a villain wanted to take away all of Superman's strength and super powers, they showed up with the green, "alien" rock, kryptonite, to render him "weak." Coach Kim is posing the question or metaphor to listeners about what "issue" or unhealed, core wound is unknowingly taking away their "power?" That's your kryptonite, friends! Things like not feeling chosen, needing to be liked or accepted, and wanting to rewrite the past are common, core wounds or kryptonite that's interrupting your connection to your life, yourself, and others. When we're aware of how our past trauma is still impacting our current lives, we can take steps to heal it. Listeners will learn actionable strategies of how to address their kryptonite, so that they can stop looking outside of themselves for acceptance and worthiness. 'Cause once the issue is addressed, your kryptonite can't ever get you in the same way again! Take that Lex!

Remember, any repetitive behavior you do to "feel better" like shopping or overeating, is falsely standing in for another true need(s) you're neglecting. Continue solving for the true need, and the behavior goes away, or becomes more manageable.
