LISTEN TO CONVO w/ Dr. Tamara Rosier, the Founder of the ADHD Center and Conference/Keynote Speaker

Listen Later

Dr. Tamara Rosier and I had a really deep and interesting conversation. We both agreed that we all need to realize that people are different, we are all human and we are not perfect. We spoke about people with ADHD and it was very important to hear the symptoms that people have with ADHD.
Tamara Rosier, Ph.D., lives in West Michigan and is the founder of the ADHD Center of West Michigan, where she and her staff work with individuals with ADHD (and their families) to learn strategies and develop new skills to live effectively with ADHD. Dr. Rosier is also the president of the ADHD Coaches Organization. She is a popular conference and keynote speaker and she is a frequent guest on podcasts and has published numerous articles about living with ADHD. If you have ADHD or don't know if you have ADHD, your brain doesn't work the same way as a "normal" or neurotypical brain does because it's wired differently. This difference in circuitry is not somehow wrong, incomplete, lazy, or shameful. However, it does present you with significant challenges like time management, organization skills, forgetfulness, trouble completing tasks, mood swings, and relationship problems
are among the chief hurdles they jump through on a daily. Well, here’s the deal… When someone has ADHD, their brain is legitimately wired differently and focuses on different things than someone would expect them to. Therefore, it does present those diagnosed with ADHD with significant challenges around typical things that others do with ease of breathing. In Your Brain's Not Broken, Dr. Tamara Rosier applies her years of coaching others to explain how ADHD affects every aspect of your life so that you can finally understand why you think, feel, and act the way you do. The result? Practical tools that can dramatically improve your personal and professional life.

Please don't put it to the side and say that person will be okay in a few minutes or moments, get help. A person can be crying for help but we tend to ignore it, please take a moment to analyze the situation. Thank you for listening to and supporting the podcast.
