Not as good as his other books

This book is written with lesser passion than his other books which are outstanding i.e. when bad things happen to good people, living a life that matters, overcoming life's disappointments. This may be due to the fact that the book was suggested by the publishers and not the author himself as he mentions in the book itself. Some good parts here and there, but does not give the wholeness feeling that his other books give.

Life's meaning

With anectodal references and eloquent communicating, the good rabbi brings close to heart

our darkest fears. With equal style he comforts us with our need to not be alone.

Well worth the listening.

A must read for anyone looking for leadership, motivation, encouragement or you just love sports books. Coach Cal lets you into his everyday schedule and family to show you being a coach at this level is a 24/7, all family commitment but one that can be richly rewarding. I loved it!

I've been up and down more than a few times in life, and while I have done the best I could with the information I had at the time, I wish to God I would have had the information that is in this book, much sooner.

I have always sat in complete wonderment at how so many successful people seem to handle their setbacks so well, and come back from them like they never happened, and always wished I knew whatever it was that they knew...

Seemed like two people having a conversation and passing only very little information of any use. Dr. Dyer seemed more interested in telling his life story than dealing with the subject of wellness. Dr. Northrup's discussion seemed only directed at women which is fine but I wish I had known that before getting the audio. Listened to about half and then just gave it up.

What a great book!

These 2 are so GREAT together!! I laughed and cried and felt like they really were touching my heart! I will listen again to this one many times over. Good info from Dr Northrup on menopause and more! Dr Dyer's info is so deep and soul searching! Thank you to both the authors for sharing!

Worthwhile

Really got a lot out of this; was fun to listen to and I think the two of them together are a great combo. Lots of thought-provoking material. Would definitely recommend it.

Why?

I purchased this book because of its high rating, so I feel compelled to comment.

I began listening with great interest and enjoyment as Wayne explained what seemed good logic about personal healing. Then, about half way through the presentation, I was totally surprised when Christiane started presenting a sexually focused discussion that was laced with condemnation of circumcision.

I don't understand why these two topics were put together and her content makes his seem questionable.

deja vu

A rehash of old material by the good doctor.

The M.D.'s contribution, was a disappointment full of conventional medicine bashing talk.

I will just say that I have started practicing the laws just a little bit because is a little difficult to change in just one day all what we have been practicing a whole life in my case for 29 years. An Accurate Title

A New Slant on Life offers simple, valuable principles I can use to improve my life.

From how to build and improve relationships with others to how to identify the destructive 3rd Party who continually tears you apart, this book provides social concepts I've yet to encounter in life.

My only suggestion is to remove the background music. It gently winds on throughout the whole book and is slightly distracting.

It is like every other self help be positive book I have ever read except this one has more paranoia and just weird universal references but its Scientology what did I expect

interesting...I've heard so many negative things about Scientology,so I wanted to find out for myself. I was pleasantly surprised to hear sound,reasonable explanations for their beliefs. This was a good book. I am not a scientologist nor do I hope of becoming one in the future. However the concepts in this book were quite interesting. Something one should atleast have a look at it.

This book has to be one of the most interesting books I had. It is hard to comprehend at first but it starts to open up after the 2nd and 3rd time around. I own lots of book about different religions and beliefs but I must say this is new to me. Confusing but very interesting
