    Title: Counted Faithful
    Author: Russell M. Stendal
    Narrator: Alethia Stendal
    Format: Unabridged Audiobook
    Length: 6 hours 14 minutes
    Release date: January 16, 2021
    Genres: Christianity
    Publisher's Summary:
Some revivals in church history, such as the Reformation and the Great Awakening, were somewhat similar to the events described in the book of Ezra and by the prophets Haggai and Zechariah. When a remnant left Babylon and returned to Jerusalem bearing the vessels of the Lord, they restored the altar, laid the foundation, and rebuilt the house of the Lord. The book of Nehemiah, however, is in a different setting. Years have gone by and things are no longer well in Jerusalem. The “wall” is broken down and the “gates” are burned with fire. God’s people are at the mercy of their enemies, and no one can tell who is in and who is out. Affliction, reproach, confusion, and disorder prevail. Sound familiar? Nehemiah means, “the Lord comforts.” We know that the Comforter is the Holy Spirit. In addition to being historically accurate, the book of Nehemiah is a prophetic parable, not only of what we call the end times, but also of the coming kingdom age of righteousness and justice. In this living parable, Nehemiah represents the earnest – or down payment – of the Holy Spirit that was poured out at Pentecost and the transition into the fullness of the Spirit promised for the time of the end.

Title: Without Flesh: Why the Church Is Dying Even Though Jesus Is Still Alive
    Author: Jonathan M. Fisk
    Narrator: Adam Verner
    Format: Unabridged Audiobook
    Length: 4 hours 48 minutes
    Release date: January 13, 2021
    Genres: Christianity
    Publisher's Summary:
Church congregations all across the United States are searching for the magic bullet, the secret to attracting people, growing their membership and their cultural relevance. They are looking for the right program, or the right environment, or the right features to help bring people back into the pews. With all of this searching for the right answer, they're missing what's right in front of them: Word and Sacrament. The ancient church saw martyrdom as an honor. Today, we cower in corners, bickering over the color of the carpet. The ancient church conquered the world by dying at its hands. Today, we are crushed in an overwhelming retreat of trying to fit in. The first Christians were not searching for anything. They were convinced that they had found the answer. They had the powerful message of a Savior. They were fearless. Could the magic bullet, the secret, be that simple? In Without Flesh, author Jonathan Fisk encourages readers to focus on the unchanging Word of God, instead of searching for a new tool to bring people to church, and teaches them how to be fearless and confident in proclaiming the Word of God.

Title: Echo: Unbroken Truth. Worth Repeating. Again.
    Author: Jonathan M. Fisk
    Narrator: Adam Verner
    Format: Unabridged Audiobook
    Length: 8 hours 50 minutes
    Release date: January 13, 2021
    Genres: Christianity
    Publisher's Summary:
Christianity is not the ability to memorize or recite from books of Scripture or doctrine. It is not magic. It is not a social club, counseling group, or self-help support group. It does not promise that you will be healthy, wealthy, wise, or even happy. Christianity is a truth - a truth first heard at the beginning of time that has echoed to this present age. A truth so profound that no man can master it, yet even a child can learn it. Jonathan Fisk introduces his readers to that truth. He lays it out as simply as a child counts to 10 on his fingers. Yet in training to hear the Echo, the reader will come to understand that the wisdom Fisk imparts is bottomless. Fisk teaches nothing less than the distilled, unbreakable Christian Echo, the very thing that has radically changed humanity in every nation and tongue in which it has ever been repeated. It is the most astoundingly complete description of what life is and why it is worth living. And it's worth repeating. Again.

In our culture of personalization, where everything is customizable, Jesus is often reworked into what each individual wants Him to be. Jesus is aligned to a person's agendas and dreams, making it easier for him or her to agree with Him.   Will the Real Jesus Please Stand Up?: 12 False Christs aims to address the many incorrect versions of Jesus present in today's culture. Whether Jesus is seen as a patriot, a social justice warrior, a therapist, or a giver of bling, these many false christs diminish the real Christ - the Savior of the world who defies our culture's standards. This book looks to the Bible to reveal that the real Jesus is already standing, while the false christs are not able to stand on their own.

Title: Three Views on Christianity and Science
Series: Part of Counterpoints: Bible and Theology
    Author: Zondervan
    Narrator: Tom Parks
    Format: Unabridged Audiobook
    Length: 7 hours 46 minutes
    Release date: January 12, 2021
    Genres: Christianity
    Publisher's Summary:
When it comes to relating Christianity to modern Western culture, perhaps no topic is more controversial than the relationship between Christianity and science. Outside the church, the myth of an age-old conflict between science and Christianity is nearly ubiquitous in popular culture and can poison the well before a fruitful dialogue can begin. Within the church, opposing viewpoints on the relation between Christianity and science often lead to division and rancor. Three Views on Christianity and Science addresses both types of conflict. Featuring leading evangelical representatives, it presents three primary options for the compatibility of Christianity and science and models constructive dialogue on the surrounding controversial issues. The highlighted contributors and their views are: - Michael Ruse, Independence View--When functioning correctly, science and Christian theology operate independently of each other, seeking answers to different questions through different means. - Alister McGrath, Dialogue View--Though the natural sciences and Christian philosophy and theology function differently, they can and should inform each other. - Bruce L. Gordon, Constrained Integration View--Science, philosophy, and theology all contribute to our understanding of reality. Their interactions constrain each other and together present an optimally coherent and integrated picture of reality. By engaging with the viewpoints of the contributors, listeners will come away with a deeper understanding of the compatibility of science and Christianity, as well as of the positions of those who disagree with them. Scholars, students, pastors, and interested laypeople will be able to make use of this material in research, assignments, sermons and lessons, evangelism, and apologetics.
