Good, but....
The narration was good, he got a plesant voice to listen to. I liked the stores in all chapters and some even made me laugh. I did however find it a litte sad that 85% of the sex scenes started the same and was the same all the way to the end. Was basically a repet just with different location/names/participants. The "dirty talk" was also repeted a lot and (I know its just a book) it just didnt sound right.
Still really hot and a good listen and I recommend it :)
very good
excellent book. I have enjoyed listening to the book. I love it, I want to hear more
mind numbingly repetitive, huge waste of time.
How did the narrator detract from the book?
The narrator reads in a monotone voice, with virtually no emotion.
What character would you cut from Pounded by the Gay Men Who Raised Me: The Complete 27 Book Series?
All the "Uncles" and the stepfather...
Any additional comments?
27 cliche, repetitive, unsexy, unemotional stories with almost the same "uncles and daddy" fantasies, complete with the same wording!....ugh.
The difference between erotica and bad porn is...
What would have made Pounded by the Gay Men Who Raised Me: The Complete 27 Book Series better?
So... Don't get me wrong - I like porn... There is romance, then there is "erotica," then "porny," and then... bad porn. In romance, I like reading about the whispers in the ear, and gentle kisses, and to be teased with almost no "dirty" details (potentially, just the idea that sex is possible). I like reading erotica, which goes further into the lurid details of every act, but with an artfulness to the writing. I like "porny," I've read lots of the stories that are fantasy stories, where you don't care anything about any character - you just want the dirty details. Then there is "bad porn." This can be fun, but more in a "let's make fun of this," kind of way. Whether on video, audio, or written - it's the kind of thing that is almost a
caricature of itself. The kind you would send your friends because it's so awful you can't stop watching/listening/reading. Think of someone having sex that has the vocabulary where there are 4 semi-imaginative words for "hole," and then says "Oh yes, **** my ," about 78 times, using them in random rotation.
What could Andy Paigeman have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?
I cheer on anyone that has written anything and made it available for the world, and there are many that will enjoy this book, just as it's written and will love every moment. I am not that person - though, I did get a lot of laughs.
