Misleading Title

The title is misleading. It should be 'The Rise of Unions in the Pacific Northwest'.

I was expecting research, facts, reports and tools for both workers and companies. Instead, this book seems to be written from the single premise that unions are good, corporations are bad, and the only path to employee happiness is through a union.

While I'm a supporter of collective bargaining, I also realize there is more to employee satisfaction than this either or choice. Unfortunately, the only tool described here is a Union Hammer and everything looks like a Union Nail.

Low quality phone interview, only for professional speakers

This 'audiobook' is a meandering conversation that was conducted on the phone for a podcast. The speaking quality is poor. Only a small portion of the 'book' covers how to use props but only in the context of professional speakers. I was hoping for guidance that I could use in Toastmasters speeches and found very little useful information. A significant part of the conversation revolves around selling props to corporate clients so the audience members can keep them as a reminder of the speech. Usually, interviews of this quality are available for free from the websites of professional speakers (e.g. Judy Carter).

Informative and a Joy to Listen To

It was a joy to listen to. I learned a great deal and she has me looking forward to conducting my first teleseminar.

This will definitely keep me from making many mistakes had I not listened to this audio book.

Rebecca Morgan is a really good communicator and explained everything simply and in great depth.

I'll definitely be listening to this every now and again to remind me how I should be doing my teleseminars.
