On today's podcast, we are joined by medicine sister and cacao ceremonialist Mayu.

Mayu is a Ceremonialist / Medicine Woman that combines self-healing, spiritual discovery, and inner radiance. She weaves indigenous roots and sound healing with the search for inner peace. Each sip of sacred cacao is a healing ritual for her, that unlocks inner wisdom. Mayu aspires to carry this journey outward to support and hold space for others to discover their hidden potential and strength through love and shared wisdom.

We met when we both attended a Remembrance retreat in Ibiza with Tata Walter and Familia Cacao. Since then we felt a connection and became close sisters.

I feel that every being who has the opportunity to be in Mayu’s presence starts activating their magic.

Mariu is a Guatemalan Mestiza woman, mother of three children, massage therapist, midwife, herbalist and teacher. She has lived and studied with the Maya midwives for the last 13 years and is now working on The Midwife Project with group of midwives focusing on revaluing their ancestral wisdom and creating a web of support for the Maya midwives creating a holistic, respectful and safe environment for birthing women.

We were introduced to each other at Lake Atitlan and felt the incredible connection to work together. Mariu became my teacher to put me on the Mayan Abdominal Massagist path.

Every Woman who gets a chance to connect to Mariu steps into the expansion of their heart, their truth, receiving the most powerful initiations on their path.

We met at the studio she was teaching a few years ago when I came back from India and was looking to continue to practice yoga. We reconnected through cacao and Sarah now is sharing her medicine through the ceremony as well.

Jodie is a Birthkeeper, Womb Healer and Ceremonialist reclaiming lost wisdom and holding space for women to remember their power throughout their Pregnancy, Birth and Womanhood journeys. She believes the root of our power lies within our womb space and through her work She honors the ways of cyclical living, blood mysteries and rites of passage to support women in coming home to their body, intuition and power on a deeper level.

Coming soon she will be holding cacao and sacred dance temples for women to explore their own unique expression through movement deepening their connection to the body and the divine.

Today we are joined by a dear teacher, guide and friend of mine, Nana Lu. 

Nana Lu is an Aj´q´ij or a mayan elder. She was born in Mexico however her spiritual lineage is in Guatemala, with Tata Constantino Zapeta. Her Master Degree is in education, and she also has some studies in transpersonal psychology like superhuman by Ken Wilbert, Swamit Goswami and recently she is taking the certification in Neurodinamic Breathwork. Since 2008 has been developing her spiritual path with mayan elders in Mexico city. She has collaborated with SEN body psychology and dance therapy, and with YOH deep and transpersonal therapies.

Nana Lu is a spiritual guide who has been doing different ceremonies, both individual and group, since 2020 she has been doing many ceremonies around LA, San Diego, Sedona and Mount Shasta. These include Mayan baptisms, Mayan birthdays, womb healings, the 13 year old, and others. She really likes working with women because when you heal a woman, you heal a family.

We met at the Birthing Cave in Sedona, USA last summer and from that moment our connection just deepened more and more.
