Cassandra is a Millennial on the move creating the Young Leadership Fellowship in 2018, becoming Director of Russell: A Place of Promise in 2019, and being named one of Louisville Business Journal's 40 Under 40 in 2020. Cassandra truly has a heart for Louisville, specifically for young adults, and is resolute in creating safe spaces and opportunities.
Interim LUL President & CEO, Lyndon Pryor is joined by Savvy Shabazz, founder and CEO of Life Coach Each One Teach One REentry Fellowship. Shabazz shared his trials and tribulations as a formerly incarcerated person including his struggles to find meaningful work, housing, and campaigning for a pardon from the Governor to have his voting rights restored. But it isn't enough for Shabazz to make it, he is motivated to reach back and help others who are formerly incarcerated persons and give them a hand in navigating life after incarceration.
