I am going to read you out one of my favourite poem by Elizabeth Barrett Browning Sonnet for the Portuguese, Sonnet no. 14.
Her dear husband was Robert Browning also one of my favourite poets. Some of his work is also fantastic, Elizabeth had died of respiratory insufficiency at the age of 55 years but I think or hope she and her husband lived a loving and fulfilling life if this love poem is anything to go by.
