Sometimes children just need us to listen. We have to listen to our children. Millions of children grew up with trauma caused by abuse from people that should have kept them safe.

37-year-old Michael is one of those people. Michael was born in Boston and grow up in the south shore. His early years were spent with his mother and sister. Michael was an adventurous teenager who did not have enough positive influences around him. He tried to fine things to keep him busy like hanging out with friends and riding dirt bike. He tried to explain why he was doing what he was doing but his mother did not understand. She did not listen.  Michael got frustrated and found it difficult to be home. He began to stay out late.  This caused problems between him and his mother. Michael is here to talk about some of the trials and tribulations he has been through.
