CATEGORY IS: ABANDONMENT 

  Remember the scene in Dreamgirls where Effie is pleading with Curtis to stay? Queue "And I am Telling You I'm Not Going" So move over, Alanis, because, in this episode, we get familiar with everyone's favorite Dreamgirl: Abandonment. As one of the deepest wounds, Abandonment can have so much power in the way we see ourselves and the world around us while dictating our every move. Arnold walks through how he discovered his abandonment wounds were causing his behavior to repel those closest to him, thus only deepening the wound. Grey explains how his fear of rejection and Abandonment forced him to overcompensate by being an anxious people pleaser. Together they conclude that rejection is a necessary part of the karmic wheel – providing us a moment that reminds us to center back to ourselves and see how WE aren't serving ourselves. So forget Mr. Taylor and look in that mirror and channel Miss Effie as you shout, "I'm staying, I'm staying, And you, and you, and you, You're gonna love MEEEEE!!!!!"
