This week we had on Emma Duffy for our fortnightly property roundup. Some Domain research shows this spring selling season could be in favour of homebuyers, with more choice. That's because listings increased in pretty much every capital city by a good margin over July. Guess which city was the strongest? Hot markets such as Adelaide and Perth also had a good listings uptick, indicating vendors are confident to sell.

On the rental side of the ledger, the market could be easing ever so slightly, with vacancy rates increasing a bit, and asking prices coming down. It still doesn't unwind the mania of the last two years but it's a start.
