Counting down the top 50 albums of 2000, which was 25 years ago! it seems so much nearer. 

1970 contained a load of albums that we now consider classics and, from a list of 150 we have come up with the top 25. Not everybody will agree and some may have very strong opinions on how we have this all wrong!

Scotland has produced a wealth of great bands over the years and here we present what we thing are the top ten ever, ranked from 10 to 1, every one of them brilliant bands.
