PFANS advocates for the transformation from a capitalist economy to a cooperative society based upon Economic Democracy. Its has devoted almost thirty years to the creation of a model for consideration and discussion, a "green-print" for an Economic Democracy. PFANS has held workshops at the Occupation of Freedom Plaza, and The Social Forums in Washington, DC, The Democracy Convention in Madison, Wisconsin, Amherst College, and at NYC's The Left Forum.
