Bali – it’s all about sun, sand, surf … and snakes?! The island’s climate is perfect for these reptiles, but with so much development going on, the snakes are increasingly coming into contact with humans. That’s where the Bali Reptile Rescue groups comes in – ride along with them as they safely remove a wayward spitting cobra and pit viper and release them back into the wild.

Every September, the skies over the sleepy Indian village of Khichan fill with the noisy arrival of thousands of migratory demoiselle cranes - as many as 15,000. But the birds did not always gather here in such vast numbers … and the story behind this amazing crane congregation is pretty extraordinary.
