Hi everyone! It's been a while since we've done a podcast episode so wanted to develop a new series called the 'Little Canyon Collective Check In' where every fortnight we come together to reflect on the last couple of weeks, any challenges and support each other as a group to look forward and plan positive goals for the future! This week we join Arran, Anthony & Jack on the sofa as Anthony talks about his goal to be able to go out into the community by himself and how we can support Anthony to achieve this! Any questions/discussion topics for the boys for upcoming episodes comment below or drop us a message and we'll include in the next episode!
The Little Canyon Collective podcast is finally back! This episode we're sitting down with Will, one of the incredibly talented lads that attends LCC on a Friday. Will amongst many things is a broadcaster, comedian and unicyclist (I know right) and in this episode talks us through the creation of his entirely new language!
We're getting the opinion from different people, James, Briar, and Eden from Rumbletums, and Colston from Derby Telegraph.
In our final episode of this series Anthony interviewed Le Mistral Restaurant owner Chris Bulaitis to chat about how he has managed from a business and personal perspective during the second lockdown in the UK due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic!
In this episode Jack hands over the interview mic to Anthony who speaks with Jacqueline from Wirksworth Heritage to discuss how the Heritage have survived through the first and now second lockdown and how Wirksworth as a whole have supported themselves in the community during this difficult time.
Anthony planned, edited and recorded the entire episode and has aspirations of becoming a broadcaster. As you can from the episode Anthony will not let his autism define him and wants to achieve these aspiration's by throwing himself into every opportunity. Great work Anthony!
In our second episode Jack interviews John, a local web designer to find out how he has survived during the second lockdown in terms of his business and how Wirksworth have supported each other within the community on the whole. Other highlights include a new feature 'What is my cat?' and the beginnings of John and Jack's new Drum & Bass duo!
