Welcome to another enlightening episode of "Little Give" with your host, Cindy. Today, we have the pleasure of introducing you to Russell Rogers, a man on a mission to inspire action and connection. Hailing from the scenic coastal town of Santa Cruz, California, Russell's journey began as a humble landscaper with a burning passion for encouraging others to embrace outdoor activities and foster meaningful relationships.

As Russell shares his story, we learn that his path to purpose was paved with unexpected twists and turns. From his years as a personal trainer specializing in baseball and softball to managing a landscape company, Russell's life took a transformative turn during the COVID-19 pandemic. Faced with the closure of parks and the inability to continue personal training sessions, Russell found himself at a crossroads.

But it was during a fateful flight, armed with nothing but a journal and a determination to find his calling, that Russell experienced a moment of clarity. Inspired by his love for connecting with kids and families, Russell embarked on a new chapter as an author, penning a series of five books titled "Move Today," aimed at empowering children to embrace outdoor play and physical activity.

With the successful launch of his books, Russell's passion evolved into a movement known as Move Today 365. But Russell's vision extended beyond the pages of his books; he sought to bring his message to life through community engagement. Thus, the monthly Move Today 365 community walks were born, inviting individuals and families from all walks of life to come together and embrace the joy of movement.

As Russell reflects on his journey, he shares the importance of overcoming self-doubt and embracing confidence in oneself. His message is simple yet profound: believe in your ability to make a difference, no matter how small your actions may seem.
