TGIS Season 3 Episode 5

Another chaotic week of college football means plenty for Jonah, Gabriel, and Henry to argue about. The boys recap rivalry weekend, Lane Kiffin losing to Kentucky, Alabama-Georgia, and some very unhappy Davidson and Tulane fans before turning to this week’s biggest games.

First Down: Ohio State-Indiana, plus a Bo Jackson debate and an argument over whether head-to-head actually matters.

Second Down: Ole Miss-Missouri, an Austin Simmons revenge game, and Henry’s completely unbiased Trinidad Chambliss takes.

Third Down: Everyone likes Alabama over Tennessee, but are the boys ready to admit they were wrong about Kalen DeBoer?

Fourth Down: More games to watch, Nebraska-Oregon, Oregon’s bowl chances, Michigan trash talk, and a completely normal “bookmark it” ending.

Season 3, Episode 4: The boys are back after a two-week break, and apparently two weeks was plenty of time to build up some takes.

Jonah, Gabriel, and Henry start with what they learned while they were away: Iowa might be overrated, Colorado might be finished, Alabama looks like a wagon, and Miami might actually be for real.

Then it’s time to go four downs through another college football Saturday.

In this episode:

Week Recap — Deion’s hot seat, Alabama rolling, a week full of frauds, and the debate over whether Mississippi State is actually better than the scoreboard says.

First Down: Georgia vs. Alabama — Can Kirby Smart finally get over the Alabama hump? Jonah believes in the Dawgs. Gabriel and Henry are riding with the Tide.

Second Down: UCLA vs. Oregon — Gabriel calls Dante Moore a “screen pass merchant,” while Jonah and Henry think UCLA has what it takes to pull off the upset at Autzen.

Third Down: Texas vs. Oklahoma — It’s Red River week, which means Gabriel is completely normal about Texas football. Oklahoma is “atrocious,” Arch Manning needs to show something, and Gabriel predicts a Colin Simmons strip-sack touchdown. Please do not wager based on Gabriel’s fantasies.

Fourth Down: Under-the-Radar Games — North Dakota State-UNLV, LSU-Kentucky, and Indiana-Nebraska. The boys make their upset picks and Henry has some love for the unranked teams nobody is talking about.

And before they go, Jonah has one more message: Syracuse is back. Obviously.

TGIS — Week 3: The Lane Kiffin Cup & Arch's Comeback

Jonah and Gabriel are back to recap the chaos of Week 2 and make their picks for another loaded college football Saturday.

Texas storms back against Ohio State, Oregon stumbles against Oklahoma State, and the boys try to figure out what it all means heading into Week 3.
