The Ingalls take leaf peeping to a new level as Charles plans a trip for the kids to collect leaves during MEA. Unfortunately, Harriet decides her family needs to horn in on the plans and join them. Laura suffers a tragical event because no one will take her to a spring dance. She has her sights set on a boy with a bowl cut but she has to use Willie in order for her plan t work. Meanwhile, Grace is upset because Mr. Edwards hasn't asked her to the dance either. This means it's time for Ma and her "women's wiles!" 

Sarah and Emily also talk about streusel topping and give themselves a pass from the next two episodes since they deal with cancer.
