A little child sleeps soundly as the Clock ticks, a Bird sings, and the Southern Wind kisses his cheeks, all trying to wake him. The Rooster crows loudly, waking all the other animals, but still, the child sleeps on. Finally, the sun shines brightly on his face, and he awakens, calling for his mother. No one knows it was the sun that woke him, not even Little Sleepyhead himself.
