This past year has been a formative one and I wouldn't change anything about it. The best place you can be, mentally and emotionally, is sitting in a place of contentment with how every piece of your journey was necessary to get you to be the person you are today. Nothing was wasted or in vain and there is peace that comes from finally seeing the whole picture. I talk about how different I am as an individual today, how my personality has grown and how my creative outlets have changed.
It's 2019 and there are still so many things that are way more complicated than they should be! My guest today, Rion, and I talk about some of the things that make us irritated because they are still so overly complicated. You may be able to relate to a few of them yourselves!
Special guest, Kate, host of blog, "Chaos with Kate," joins me today to talk about finding identity and purpose in Christ. Focusing on the why instead of the what in moments of turmoil and severe change in life. A single mother of two, Kate has a lot of wisdom and insight to share on how God has redeemed her and sustains her as she has transitioned into her new life. We dive into topics surrounding social media and the "perfect" life we all show on the platforms as well as feeling unqualified by the world's standards, but trusting God regardless.
Why are some people always late to everything? What are the reasons and thoughts behind those who are late? I talk about why I am always late, how I feel about it and recognize how it may make others feel.
Extroverts and Introverts are extremely different, but we need each other to keep one another balanced. Being an extrovert can be really difficult trying to juggle all of the relationships/friendships you have. In this episode we talk about trying to understand each other as introverts and extroverts in terms of spending time with one another and navigating needs for quality time. This is not meant to be one sided and I do not speak for all introverts or extroverts, this has just been my personal experience.
